Online Podcaster Workshop

The PODCASTER program digital workshop will be hosted on Wednesday, 31 August 2022 from 12h00 - 15h00. The workshop is aimed at providing the necessary knowledge required to launch a podcast show by providing a step-by-step beginner's guide that takes an initial idea from a concept to a final finished. Facilitated by Young Women in Business Podcast Host – Tshifhiwa Manyatshe will take you on the journey of finally launching your podcast!

The workshop will cover:

•Module 1: Preparation & Planning – This module outlines the process of creating a framework for a podcast and identifying the purpose and main themes for the podcast. 

• Module 2: Podcast Format - This module teaches participants to identify the delivery style, and content for the entire podcast, whilst breaking down each episode in a series. 

• Module 3: Podcast Graphic Design – This module provides insights of the various visual material that is required for a podcast and provides guidance on how to create it. 

• Module 4: Recording & Equipment – This module covers resource management and how to utilize the available resources to record a podcast according to the equipment available. 

• Module 5: Editing & Production – This module covers the various means of editing podcasts in preparations for launch.

• Module 6: Publish Your Podcast – This module outlines the processes involved in publishing a podcast. 

• Module 7: Let's go Live – This module combines all the efforts implemented over the previous weeks and helps participants fine-tune a final product, which will be a podcast ready to go live.
